Hello, Miss Stone. I heard about your services as a weaver and was wondering if I could place an order for some clothes for the coming winter. I'm writing to ask because I know it's been a wild few months lately and needed to be sure you're available before I put in a request.
Hallo, I'm very sorry to tell you that I've only ever worked with finished cloth. I do know some weavers in Shiver, and I should be very glad to order you whatever you like if what I have doesn't suit. I should like to make anyone clothes for the winter, but I'm told it's very regular and still some months away. I am available in mornings, if you should like these clothes by the end of the month, but I expect I shall resume my regular hours in [checks notes] August, or September, if the Beast Moon does not abate. I was told winter arrives in the month of November, following a harvest in October, which should give me a good deal of time to finish your clothes. I should be very glad to make you a cloak in the meantime, which shouln't require much fitting.
Sorry, it's a term used back home to describe people who both make cloth and make items from fabric. What I would like is to prepare better clothes for the winter. The ones I have from when I arrived were thrown together at best and it'd be nice to have a proper outfit this time around. So I thought I'd ask early.
Honestly I'd like to talk about more than winter clothes now that I've established myself a bit better. But I understand this moon might not be the best for it. Should we both make it through to see another, I'd like to schedule an appointment. Or should you ever be free even before then to talk ideas do let me know.
[ Even if the shop is closed for the making of product or proper fittings, there might be times to talk loosely about ideas right? ]
Very much of my training has had to do with making clothes for cold weather and harsh winters. I should be very glad to make you whatever you need. It will not take me very long.
You are wise to prepare for winter. It always comes. I can fit you at the Sanctuary, if you'd like them sooner.<.font>
I certainly have no intention of spending a whole winter the same way I did when I first arrived.
[ She arrived mid-winter and it was not a happy time. Thankfully she had help to get through it and learn what she'd need to prepare for the next. ]
That would be wonderful. I'll send in the order and measurements. And I do stop by the Sanctuary when I can, so it should be no trouble to seek you out and see if you have a moment for the fitting.
Are there any types of payment you prefer? While the quantity would probably need to be worked out, I can at least narrow down what I offer to what you might need.
