(so in time, jinx and mr. bananas make it to their home except she doesn't necessarily rush to go inside. even if she wanted to, her legs carry so much weight and her entire world feels as if it's moving in slow-motion. on her shoulders is her omen -- cooing to her and keeping close.
and when jinx finally decides to move on forward, she leaves icy solid footprints to trail behind. mr. bananas spots this and then thinks maybe he should be the one getting the door when they approach closer. it seems his sleeper is going to frost over everything she touches with whatever mood she seems to be.)
[vi has been steadily decorrupting, and though she's still filthy, the tarnish is off her blood markedly - enough that she's at least able to remember where she is, and what name belongs to which person, mostly. she hears that door - and is up as quickly as she can be, weaving a little as she goes.]

(with each given step vi takes to her, the more the ice and frost shrink into puddles along the floors. her hair (that was solid white before entering in) gradually mutates back to its natural state. and once her big sister is within enough distance, she can see jinx's eyes are pinkish-red and puffy from crying. around her nostrils, it's already red from possibly from rubbing with stains of shimmer blood down to her upper lip. it's hard to determine if it's from crying or one of the symptoms of corruption. it could be snot or blood, whose to say unless asked.
there's a sudden overwhelming feeling when her sister reaches her, too. after being in isolation for who knows how long to now having vi's vileblood activating its tranquility, it's practically making her light-headed. and it shows that it's hitting jinx rather hard as her body unstiffen itself. her head droops and it appears her legs might give out in a second as she attempts to keep her footing. maybe it's worrying and concerning but it's not necessarily a bad feeling -- at least not to jinx.
the aura of the calmness washing over her troubled mind is now at peace; bathing with warmth and softness of a puffy cloud. it's as if it tells her "it's okay. you can rest now, young one." and jinx does just that. with a slow yet deep sigh, she shuts her eyes and simply lets herself go -- her entire body falling forward with mr. bananas screeching in a panic. if vi doesn't catch her, mr. bananas already made himself large enough to latch in his hold. if need be.)
[vi has held in her tears for a number of hours. how many (three days worth? really?) she couldn't say.
and it doesn't matter if its snot or blood - she's way past being grossed out by either, or caring what ends up where. who's to say she's not already got snot on her from someone in the wrong trench - because there's definitely blood.
vi will catch her. again. even though she stumbles into it halfway on the ground, even if she's still unsteady on her own legs, the sight of jinx falling is enough to sober her - well, that, and the corruption that's already been taken from her thanks to sansa's loyal knight (a very good boy) she'll catch herself, catch her sister - she'll kneel there and hold on - and if the omen(s) want to join in that hold, that's fine, too. if vi is kneeling in a puddle she won't notice for a long while, because that doesn't matter either.
this is a large part of why she fought her way back.]
(mr. bananas is sighing in huge relief that vi was able to catch jinx. the last everyone needs is for his sleeper to get head wound and get a concussion. so he will give them the space that they needed as he always tends to do. and as for jinx, she is conscious but it's hard to tell. the important thing is that she's breathing and is entirely at ease.
a hand grips loosely onto her stained clothing and then she mutters to her:)
[vi manages a tight laugh, brushing whatever ice clings to her sister off and onto the floor (better clean that up ...someone, that's a slip and fall waiting to happen), and she's dizzy with relief, with the rise and fall of adrenaline and emotion - and an only recently less patchy memory bank.]

[she turns to the omens before attempting to scoop jinx up into her arms. she's gonna need an assist to get her up to the treehouse, just in case.]
(ah! mr. bananas can definitely help with this. making monkey sounds, he larges himself just enough to be a little taller than vi. he links his arm around her to help walk on to the front door at least.

she pads behind them, mindful of the puddles and bits of ice before gently dissipating back into the chest of her sleeper, which steadies the young woman's feet even as it gets a little exhale of something between surprise and relief. vi is a good jumper, but bananas is better - he's an omen and he's a monkey - so no surprise there, but vi is grateful, and she sticks to the safest path up because her cargo is precious.]
