i washed up, wanted to stay and somehow didn't. came back again a few months later and i did stay. i left when i didn't mean to is all i'm saying.

not so great w/numbers but ive heard other people talk about it too. i guess its more common than i thought. youre right though. and theres no real way to know. except to just wait. and accept it and feel shitty.

People say all sorts of things. Just because someone was called back to the ocean doesn't mean they want to go. It's like anything else that happens in this place. Sometimes there's a reason, but often there isn't any. If he is gone, he can still return.

I don't think he wanted to go. I think he would have stayed to try to make me better, even if he really did want to go.

He would have wanted to stay with you because it made him happy, not out of any obligation. He wanted to help you because he cared about you. We all do.

Mabel and Dipper didn't want to leave us, but they felt they had no choice. I still don't understand it, but there's no reason to suppose I won't see them again someday.

Vi, Jinx and I all came out of the ocean and fell back in at least one time. None of us even remember going back. I remember it was peaceful in the ocean, though, like sleeping.

I don't know. We always have cake. He does like strawberries. I imagine anything that smells nice baking might be a help; perhaps the soft ones with chocolate chips.
