[Ezra sighs, his cordial tone collapsing a little.]

Not quite. Leia didn't exactly ask before she went off to stay somewhere else, and I'm pretty sure - no I sense - that she's upset. I have my guesses.

We can talk about it more than I get there, if you're up for it.

Of course I am.

[sansa is a little concerned for both ezra and leia, and it shows in her voice.]

Leia is very clever for her age, and courteous. But all children do stupid things when they're upset. I'm sure she wasn't thinking about how it might hurt you if she left.

[sansa herself is a little hurt leia didn't come to her before merrin and cal, but she knows leia didn't mean anything by it, at least.]

[ezra_of_lothal]

I'm more worried than hurt- [He pauses, and winces, and admits reluctantly.]

Ok, a little hurt that she didn't come talk to me. But I'm not mad at her.

I'll be there soon.

[dohaeris]

[sansa had thought ezra might be worried leia was mad at him, as well.]

She'll be safe with Merrin and Cal, won't she?

I'm sure she'll want to talk to you, when she's ready. I can't imagine you doing anything that might make her feel otherwise.

[Well, yes, that, too.]

I trust Cal and Merrin. Well. Mostly. None of us exactly had safe childhoods, any one of our senses of appropriate for 10 year old may be off.

[sansa struggles to imagine what might be inappropriate for ten year olds that isn't immediately obvious. perhaps they might misjudge her capacity for strenuous training?]

She's very capable. I doubt she'll come to harm.
