AU BACKGROUND:
Sansa Stark was born to a large wealthy family with a history of mutation in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, where she lived by all accounts an incredibly happy childhood. Sansa was a charming, cheerful, polite child, extremely popular with her peers and in fact most everyone except her little sister. The trouble all started when her older brothers' powers first manifested--Sansa began to fall out of favor with the kids at school. Her own powers manifested when she was 13, and though she tried to hide them, she didn't have complete control, and minor fluctuations in her height and hair length eventually gave her away. Some of the crueler boys in her year then took it upon themselves to torment her, eventually going so far as to land her dog in the animal hospital. Though at first Sansa tried to stick it out, Lady's safety as well as her own trumped her stubborn pride and she allowed her parents to transfer her to the Genosha Academy. While Sansa had initially hoped to be a glamorous superheroine like her hero Meggan Braddock, she has since developed an interest in espionage and deep cover work.
PERSONALITY:
Sansa is a sweet girl with impeccable manners and a deep reserve of inner strength. She is genuinely compassionate, though increasingly manipulative, and she is thoroughly loyal to those she cares about, and in fact frets about her siblings a good deal. Sansa does have a bratty streak, though since coming to Genosha she's found that most people seem eminently tolerable considering the kids she had to deal with back home. From a young age she's had a fascination with superheroes and their antics, and she has a surprising knowledge of weird x-men exploits. She is also passionate about fashion and design, and loves to make clothes for herself and other people. Some of her other hobbies include musical theater, singing in general, and figure skating. She's a little paranoid about bullies and mutophobia, and doesn't always trust strange humans or the outside world. In fact, when she visits home in Newcastle, she can be downright shy. Generally, though, she's a charming, witty young lady, stronger and more cunning than most people seem to give her credit for.
APPEARANCE:
Sansa is a very tall, very pretty redheaded young girl with piercing blue eyes, except of course for when she wants to look like something else.
POWERS:
Sansa's primary power is shapeshifting, and while she is not entirely LIMITED to ordinary woman-shaped forms, she hasn't done much experimenting with metamorph-type business. This would be a good direction to take her training eventually! Also, like all her siblings, Sansa can project her consciousness into an animal so long as she, herself, is unconscious--her primary vehicle for this of course being her dog Lady.
ANYTHING ELSE: When the Starks stumbled upon an abandoned litter of six apparently husky puppies, Sansa's brothers wheedled her parents into allowing one for each child; Sansa's dog is named Lady and is the most polite and well-trained of the litter.
