the rookery

the rookery is the name sansa has given to an old townhouse in cellar door formerly inhabited by an old nightwalker with an extensive dress collection and a penchant for feeding the ravens. technically it is a play on the name of the eyrie. the front room is reserved for fittings.

there is a carved weirwood tree growing out of the back room of the first floor and through the two rooms on top of it, sticking of the roof and right side of the house. the roof and walls have been repaired around it, thanks to wanda maximoff.


the rest of the building is largely neo-victorian, with sansa's tapestries hanging in the rooms she uses most often. there are some photographs of a large black batcat. she has tried to maintain a blue-grey color scheme with a few muted pink and purple accents.

Vi has painted a large direwolf sigil in grey on the facade. wanda maximoff has provided magical wards for the house as well as wards against fire and explosions.

sansa lives on the biggest bedroom in the top floor, previously inhabited by lady catriona, the building's former owner. it has a walk-in closet and elaborate four-poster canopy bed, which sansa has decorated with weirwood branches and cloth roses. there is a large direwolf sigil and weirwood tapestry hanging alongside other ones of ravens, wolves, lemon trees and weirwood trees. most of the items sansa has recovered from her homeworld are stored in here. Vi and Jinx also have bedrooms on the third floor. lazarus largely occupies the second.

jinx has built a small but sturdy treehouse on top of the rookery.

there is a courtyard out the back shared with three other buildings. sansa has cultivated protein-rich edible mushrooms in it.
